I've been a lurker here for awhile and I figured I would stop by and start contributing to these forums. They've grown quite a bit since their birth and it seems to be a steady trend :).

About Me
I'm a gamer and a "entrepreneur" who has been around in this market for years. I find it interesting, fun, and rewarding if done properly. Recently we've given birth to a new creation PubGameServers.com which tries to cater to the casual gamer and we're excited to continue growing at the rate we are.

About PGS
We're a fairly new GSP - though we've been in the industry since the beginning. We're hoping to appeal to the casual gamer / public game servers by making it easy for gamers to install mods, maps, stats, and unrivaled support that's so needed in this industry. Beyond that we take pride in what we offer and let the services and prices speak for themselves.

So there is Pubgameservers, Velocity-Servers, and Summit-Servers?

But it would make sense to purchase a PUBLIC server from pubgameservers than velocity-servers, because you basically get the exact same company/quality/stuff but for cheaper?

You're comparing apples to orange. That's like saying you're going to get the same quality if you buy a server from Summit or Velocity. It's a entity that has its own business plan, hardware, and the way its ran is completely different.

The network is indeed the same - namely because it's superb for game servers :).
