Giving my Intro
Hey guys,
I've been around for some time now, just haven't participated until just recently, but I thought I'd give my introduction. My name is Andrew "aMies" Miesner, hence where I get my alias from. The name is pronounced ay-MIZE, although I have become quite used to hearing ay-meez. I currently live in Bradenton, Florida, after moving here from NY last year. I have been in the gaming scene for quite some time now, if I had to estimate it'd have to be going on about 8-9 years now. I am currently attending Devry University, working towards my Bachelors of Science in Game and Simulation Programming, game development for short.
Currently, I am a Support Technician for NuclearFallout, a company I'm sure you all recognize. It's probably one of the best jobs I've ever had, working under one of the smartest people I've come to know in John (Edge100x). I've been with them for over a year now after a short stint with Branzone while partnering with them on an old project that I took over called eSportsBuilder.
I also work for the Los Angeles Complexity under Jason Lake as the head of staff. You will constantly see me with the team, keeping the site up to date and providing coverage for the community. It's a job that I enjoy very much, and am proud to be a part of the gaming explosion that is occurring.
To prevent this from sounding like an auto-biography, I will cut it short. I have a strong passion for games, and more specifically game servers. I do my best to ensure the customer gets the service that he/she deserves, while providing it in a timely fashion. I am always open to discussion about issues and updates amongst other techs, as it can only help expand ones knowledge. I can always be found on IRC, so don't hesitate to PM me.
Thanks!
