Recently I purchased a ventrilo server from MainVoice.net. I had heard of the company, and had many referrals, from quite a number of my friends - And just recently decided to try them out. They had a special (20% off all their prices) which made them very cheap [This of course helped my decision to go with MainVoice].
My method of contact was IRC. I sent the CEO, Warren, a message around 3 AM and, to my suprise, immediately got a response. He was very friendly, and gave me the coupon code for the 20% off. When I asked about his DNS options, he told me that it would be no problem to do.
Setup was very quick with MainVoice, and I had a fully operational server in a little over five minutes - Which made my very happy.
This was a little over a month ago. I've yet to see any downtime in my server, and the quality is amazing so I've had no server-side issue.
Overall, I'd give them a 10/10. This covers their Pricing, Setup, Support (Which I have used only on one occassion for my DNS, and the ticket response time is very quick), Performance, Control Panel (Which is simple, and user-friendly), and Locations. (They even offer locations outside of the US!)
For a company that's pretty much been in the dark, and the underdog, I am very suprised at their quality, and also pleased with their service.
