Why would I want to pay 180 for a vbulletin when I can get a PhPbb for free. Can some tell me why I would want to do this. Today I'm installling forums and I don't know if I want the free one or vbulletin. Thanks for your suggestions.

vBulletin shows that you have the profit to spend on a forum database and shows your clients that you can spend money on something for a place to talk about things.

I'm very serious about this. So I will buy this license tonight. Anything else I should get with it. Any free addons that I should get for the fourms to make it better.

Vbul all the way, PHPBB is just for those kid companies. As he said above, Spending the $ is just that much more professional, add-on wise look around and see what you want to incorporate. Sometimes more is not better.

I personally just like the support of the more professional community.

I also have a license that I'm trying to get rid of now that I don't have any plans for it anymore. It's a lifetime license, and I'm willing to negotiate a price on it. PM me.

phpBB is not just for those "kid companies".... Sure Vbulletin is nicer no duh but calling phpBB for kid companies is stupid because it is still an amazing product.

I would have to agree with what Spartanfrog said, if not spending money on forums is cheap for "kid companies" That is kind of like saying using CentOS or FreeBSD is for "Kid companies" Why not pay for say Redhat.
Yes I know thats different subject still not everything is that much better because you paid for it.
I also noticed your post before was deleted Richard not sure why. :) At least it has a link for it now.
